Brazos Bend State park was our first near to Houston State Park which we explored and felt in love. I became a volunteer there in 1991 and since then I educate the visitors for nature photography. I started my monthly Photo-walks there and through my photography I became a better nature conservationist. I received my Excellence award in 2005 and the Prestigious Volunteer Emeritus title in 2011. After 25 years (about 250)  of dedicated Photo-walks, I will continue my photographic teaching there at advanced level, changing the title to “Through the Lens” Fine Art Nature Photography workshops. This may give an opportunity to others to continue the Photo-walks at beginner level.
