There was a great Art After Dark program at the Lost Pines Art Center in Bastrop, Texas on February 3, 2024, from 6-8 PM.

The opening of the “L’esprit de la Louisiane” exhibition, and all of the other programs were great. We enjoyed all of the 2D artists’ works and pottery artist Marie Blazek’s beautiful functional and sculptural pieces in a variety of colors and textures in clay. “Blues Man” Todd Roth, played his great blues songs during the event.

The Lost Pines Art Center organized the “L’Esprit de la Louisiane” exhibition contest. The jury selection result was announced on January 27, 2024. We were pleased to learn that Laszlo’s “Swamp Cypresses and Shadows” black and white, and Lexi’s “Spoonbills of Lake Martin” color photographs were selected for the Exhibition.

Photographic Artists Laszlo and his wife Lexi, were invited speakers to present their program: “Birding with the Artist Eye” at the La Grange Noon Lions Club at Frisch Auf! Valley Country Club (575 Country Club Dr. La Grange, TX 78945) on January 25, 2024. They talked about their passion and close relationship with Nature and their feathered friends. They projected their “Coastal Birding with the Artist” slide show with music and presented a few original exhibition prints.
