“Doors and Windows” is part of my vision, the realization of my dreams reflecting the unknown behind the closed doors and windows. The series of photographs taken from entrances of old houses in Santa Fe, New Mexico, reflects the spirit of the adobe architecture, the forms, shapes, colors, create a dreamy, magical series of photographs.
Photography is painting with light. I look for those situations in our natural environment, when the light causes some special effects, and I look for all of the possibilities which able to show the light differently. I walked several times on narrow streets and enjoyed the friendly atmosphere of the village life. Looking to the doors and windows, sometimes they were opened by friendly people or remained closed keeping their secrets inside.
The work challenges the viewer to see manmade objects differently especially when those try to tell something from the people behind them.
