The Houston Center for Photography (HCP) will present their Annual fundraising Student Print Sale on April 28, 2018 from 2-6 PM at HCP. Laszlo as HCP Photography Instructor, was also invited to participate on the Print Sale. Laszlo will share his exhibition table with his wife Lexi.  

Date and location: April 28, 2018, from 2-6 PM at HCP (1441 W Alabama St, Houston, TX 77006).

Laszlo led his Houston Center for Photography (HCP) organized Close-Up / Macro workshop Part Two at Houston Audubon Society Edith Moore Sanctuary in Houston from 8 AM – 12 PM on April 21, 2018. The weather was overcast, cloudy, and the predicted rain luckily shifted to the evening. The  flowers of Lantana plant and Spiderwort were glowing and all of the other close-up themes were very impressive in the soft morning light. After my refreshing talk about light, proper tripod use and the last week Close-Up Part One workshop topics (April 16, 2018 at HCP), we spread out and started to photograph nature’s beauty from our heart. I appreciated my participants’ enthusiasm and we shared our visions and discussed each camera settings. We all had a good time there. The Part Three, discussion and critique meeting will be on April 23, 2018 from 6 PM – 9 PM at HCP.

Laszlo’s “Through the Lens” Photo hike at Brazos Bend State Park, TX

A small group of photographers met at the Nature Center in Brazos Bend State Park for Laszlo’s Through the Lens” photo hike at 5 PM on April 7, 2018. The weather was windy and overcast, even we got few rain drops… well, this was not an ideal weather photographing plants and wildflowers. However, we walked around Creekfield lake and at the North-East corner we found a wind protected area with Horsetail Plants and few colorful wines growing in between. When we quietly walked back to the parking area, we found a hunting great white egret. Finally, we got few images, we were happy and the hopeless afternoon turned out nicely.
