Laszlo led his Houston Center for Photography (HCP) organized Landscape workshop Part Two at Jesse H. Jones Park in Humble, TX from 8 AM – 12 PM on July 14, 2018. After a whole week long heavy rain, the weather was sunny, sometimes cloudy, and the predicted storm luckily shifted to another day. The  water level was high at the Cypress Boardwalk trail and all of us enjoyed the reflections, giant cone like breathing roots, and the peaceful atmosphere of the cypress swamp in soft morning light. After my brief review of light, proper tripod use and how to learn to see, as we talked about last week, during my Landscape Part One (July 9, 2018 at HCP), we spread out and started to photograph nature’s beauty. I appreciated my participants’ enthusiasm and we shared our visions and had one on one discussions about their settings. About 11 AM, we walked to Spring Creek and photographed the nice view to the Creek and Sandy Beach. The dancing ripples and the play of light made us happy. We all had a good time there. The Part Three, discussion and critique meeting will be on July 16, 2018 from 6 PM – 9 PM at HCP.
